The Soulmate Project

The Soulmate Project brings an electrifying blend of vintage and modern influences to the forefront of today’s music scene. As a one-man band, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Roman Andor weaves together an eclectic soundscape inspired by the diverse rhythms of Electro Swing, with shades of everything from slow Swing Hop grooves to Neo Swing flourishes, pop influences, Klezmer and Balkan undertones. Known for his ability to mix vintage orchestral sounds with energetic modern elements, The Soulmate Project nods to both the old and the new by drawing influence from iconic producers like Mark Ronson and Quincy Jones, whilst also channeling the energy of contemporary creators such as Avicii and Caravan Palace. Transporting the listeners to different musical eras has become a signature element of The Soulmate Project. The single “Be Yourself” gained widespread recognition being featured in a major marketing campaign by the South Korean conglomerate Hanwha. The campaign’s immense success, boasting over 80 million views, catapulted The Soulmate Project into the global spotlight. Excitingly, The Soulmate Project will debut its first full-length album in December 2024, blending vintage charm with contemporary energy. Soon after, the live ensemble will be bringing this vibrant, genre-defying sound to live audiences, making a splash on stage.
