Biography & Metadata
The Insomnia Night is a long-standing project led by Manuel García de la Mata: guitarist, composer, singer, multi-instrumentalist producer, with ventures in audiovisual production and radio. The project has evolved over time, exploring various styles while keeping rock as its backbone. A melodic rock enriched by influences from American road rock, Britpop, A.O.R., psychedelia, epic folk, and hard rock with progressive touches. This versatility is showcased in several digitally released tracks and the conceptual quadruple album The Hallway. Always working and releasing new material, The Insomnia Night has recently expanded its repertoire to include acoustic compositions with folk, pop, and Latin-border influences, along with diverse adaptations of external songs known as "Dark Tales." This growing collection highlights the artist’s wide range of influences. Additionally, his rock-oriented video clips are featured on his YouTube channel: The Insomnia Night. Manuel García de la Mata has also directed over three hundred monographic radio programs about different albums on Radio Insomnia (available on iVoox), in addition to recording and producing albums and videos for various artists.
