Jenna Kay

Jenna Kay is a Nashville-based pop-rock singer-songwriter known for her blend of edgy pop hooks and emotionally charged lyrics. Emerging from the vibrant independent scene, she has gained attention for her dynamic vocal delivery and candid storytelling about love, growth, and self-discovery. Smartsass is Jenna Kay’s fearless take on turning life’s hardest moments into something bold, honest, and a little bit witty. The album dives into the things we all think but don’t always say, like heartbreak, jealousy, confusion, independence, and growing pains, then flips them on their head with humor and attitude. Instead of breaking under pressure, Smartsass finds the punchline in the pain. It’s about taking the messy parts of life, the things that sting or frustrate you, and spilling them out in your music with confidence like a smart aleck who refuses to stay quiet. There’s vulnerability in the lyrics, but there’s also fire. It’s emotional without being defeated, honest without being bitter. At its core, Smartsass is empowerment wrapped in wit tying a bow around the chaos and owning your story with a smirk.
