Biography & Metadata

Goretex/Lord Goat is an underground Hip-Hop artist, producer and founder of Supercoven Records. Born in Long Beach, New York, he is credited along with Ill Bill and others as pioneering the New York underground Hip Hop movement.
Originally a member of Non Phixion along with Ill Bill, Sabac Red and DJ Eclipse, the group achieved massive underground success and acclaim for their debut album, "The Future Is Now", released on Uncle Howie Records. Produced by DJ Premier, Large Professor and Pete Rock and others, this release has defined what an all around classic Hip Hop album should consist of. Non Phixion's influence can still be felt across the world, reaching fans and artists alike as one of the most loved and highly respected rap groups ever.
Goretex's debut solo album "The Art Of Dying" was released to a wide praise of cult status and what some say, one of the most disturbing, influential and innovative album covers ever in hip hop. Lord Goat appeared with the releases of "Coffin Syrup" and "Final Expenses" with producer Stu Bangas and continues to record and produce under that moniker.
His label Supercoven continues to put out new musical outputs with Lord Goat, As well as new artists like Blizz From Juice, Chubs and Bub Styles. Look for the new album with Recognize Ali dropping in May, entitled Mortuary Drape.
