Matthew Sax, born Mattia Romio, is an Italian musician, DJ, and producer known for blending the powerful rhythms of electronic music with the elegance of his live saxophone performances, creating a distinctive and engaging sound experience. Over the past few years, he has gained recognition and support from major international names such as Don Diablo, Oliver Heldens, Kryder, Flashmob, Jude & Frank, Angemi, Botteghi, Nicola Fasano, MOTI, and Rudeejay. His music has been released on respected labels including Saifam, Time Records, Zero Cool, D:Vision, Ego Music, and UNDR THE RADR (Roger Sanchez’s imprint). With his single “Cumbia Flute”, Matthew reached #8 on Beatport’s Hype Chart, standing out among the most promising global tracks. 2025 starts with strong momentum: a collaboration with Flashmob and Botteghi on D:Vision, a new release on UNDR THE RADR, and a joint project with Dennis Cartier on Ego Music.
