Maria Whoat

Maria Whoat is a producer and beatmaker from Essen, Germany. Her instrumentals are shaped by textured loops, subtle grooves and a strong sense of mood. Drawing from lo-fi aesthetics, ambient music, classic hip-hop and everyday sounds, she creates beats that feel both grounded and atmospheric. She works with samples as a core element of her production – layering, reshaping and processing them through effects and sound design to create her own sonic textures. Using Ableton Live and a SP-404, she keeps her setup minimal and hands-on. The result is raw, warm and unpolished in the best way: music for quiet moments, deep focus, or just letting the loop ride.
