With a career spanning three decades, Gianluca Motta is definitely one of the most respected DJs of the Italian dance scene. His sets are meant to make people dance their brains off, thanks to his impeccable taste and the ability to draw from a multitude of genres, from house to rock, from techno to electronic. Gianluca is a king of the console, both in Italy and abroad - having played all over Europe in addition to being chosen by Heineken for a Canada tour along with Benny Benassi, Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso - as well as a solid producer. His singles “Up N Down” (with Merk & Kremont), “Ooops Up” (vs Snap! & NG3) are still among the most wanted club bangers. Gianluca’s 2008 hit “Not Alone”, featuring Molly, was remixed by the likes of deadmau5, Tiger Stripes, Vandalism, Martin Roth, K-Klass and released on top labels such as Ultra, Spinnin’, AATW, Ministry Of Sound AU. This massive track also earned him the support of such A-list DJ as Tiesto, Pete Tong, Roger Sanchez, Armin van Buuren, David Morales, Groove Armada and Axwell. His undebatable skills also led him to remixing elite artists like Eric Morillo, Michael Gray, Tom Novy, Oscar G & Ralph Falcon, Djuma Soundsystem, Swen Weber, Simply Red, Despina Vandi and Matt Goss. On a final note, his remix of Get Far’s “Shining Star” was a major hit in Southern Europe’s clubs and radios.
