Chronic Gang Musiq is a Gqom duo from kwaMashu, Durban, formed by Nduduzo Makhanya and Andile Zungu. Active since 2018, the duo has built a strong presence in the Gqom scene through consistent releases and collaborations with notable artists such as Bhuda M, GqoMLorD, King Lee (Jimbo Sounds), RockSoniQ, Afro Tech Boyz, and Mastheramusic. Known for their distinct sound, Chronic Gang Musiq explores the deeper side of Gqom by blending sacred instruments, intentional composition, and raw township energy. Their mission is to expand the genre’s boundaries while representing authentic street culture and uplifting emerging talent.
