Biography & Metadata
Born and bred from New York, Ivy League creates a community through their music and its meaning. Starting from the bass lines of John Rossi, to the wall of gang vocals throughout the songs, the music is filled with a “driving raw intention” and meaning. Distinctively an East Coast vibe, their music is the melding of their alt indie emo predecessors, with powerful verses and anthemic chorus’ while maintaining the polish of modern pop music. Since their release of the first single “The Weight”, Ivy League has begun to branch out in a way to establish themselves as their main goal in becoming a strong live performance. Since the conception, the band has begun to work along side certain mental health organizations to share and promote their championing of mental illness. As this is the community Ivy League provides to their audience, which is better referred to them as, “Family”.
