UAP

Hi, it's UAP! I grew up in the 1980s and inhaled the sound of the era, so it became my natural musical style. I consider myself to be primarily influenced by Australian band ICEHOUSE, especially their early work, but in the 30+ years of my songwriting career I've established a sound of my own. My songs have been reviewed around the world and have been featured on NDR public radio and SAT1 public TV in Germany. You'll hear only few software instruments in my music. Instead, I'm drawing back to an arsenal of hardware synthesizers with a particular and long lasting love for ENSONIQ instruments of which I'm an avid collector. Since 2023 I'm regularly collabing with Singer/Songwriter KATIE TICH. After collabs on more than 17 songs, we've decided to form our own musical project which is now called @Rosebudthorn In 2025 I have created an entirely new soundtrack for the classic 1920 motion picture "Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari" connecting silent movie history with Synthesizer magic. The movie with my soundtrack has been shown in public cinemas in Germany. For 2026 the plan is to have a new album and develop the sound of UAP with even more Synthesizer magic! Stay tuned!
