Biography & Metadata

From Jamaica to the UK, Minister Taf is carving out a powerful lane in Gospel Reggae, blending infectious Caribbean rhythms with bold, faith-driven messages. His music is uplifting, relatable, and rooted in real-life experiences, creating a sound that resonates far beyond the church. Originally pursuing a career in football, Taf’s path changed in 2012 after a life-defining encounter with God that led him into music. Since then, he has grown into one of the UK’s most exciting Gospel Reggae voices, known for his energetic delivery, catchy flows, and unapologetic message of hope. His catalogue includes multiple projects, including his debut album LIFE, the EP Ena Minyma, and his latest album FACTS (2025), which earned him the distinction of becoming the first independent UK Gospel Reggae artist to receive Grammy consideration. Minister Taf has performed internationally across Europe and Africa, and on major UK stages including Big Church Festival and the Premier Gospel Awards. He has also shared stages with artists such as Rachel Kerr, Datin, Guvna B, Limoblaze, Annatoria, and Grammy-winning worship leader Kari Jobe. With support from platforms like BBC 1Xtra, Premier Gospel, and radio stations across the US, Africa, and the Caribbean, his reach continues to grow globally. More than just an artist, Minister Taf is also an author and the founder of Street Feed, a charity supporting the homeless, reflecting his mission to bring hope both through music and action.
