Rafting

Rafting is the project of Paris-based musical artist, DJ, producer, and songwriter Dallin Stevenson. Moving fluidly between ambient, experimental pop, garage, jungle, musique concrète, and beyond, Rafting’s music inhabits a sonic world entirely its own. Smashed and stuttering drums, dizzying synthesizers, and irresistible melodies collide to create music that feels at once familiar and otherworldly. The project has drawn attention from Gorilla vs Bear, “occupies some dream-like liminal space between distant, twinkling chillwave transmission and tranquil ambient pop” and Stereogum, “there’s a warm beating heart at the core of [her] frigid synthetic production” artist photo by @inthecold
