Darshan Shah

Darshan Shah is an Award-winning Composer, Arranger, Sound Designer and Music Producer. He is the founder of Treehouse Studios, a leading Audio Post Production studio in Gujarat. Darshan has experience working on several Feature Films like like Polis Evo (Malaysia’s Biggest blockbuster in 2015) as a sound designer, Ratanpur (A Gujarati Film for which he was nominated for Best Background Score in 2018), Hun Iqbal (won the Transmedia Award in 2023 for Best Background Score and was also nominated for the GIFA Awards 2023). Apart from Feature Films, Darshan has worked extensively on Documentaries for channels like National Geographic, Discovery, History Channel, Channel News Asia, Disney TV and many more. Darshan was the Music Composer and Chief Sound Designer / Re-recording Mixer on National Geographic’s current most rated show since 3 years ‘Snakes SOS: Goa’s Wildest’. This show won the National Winner’s List for Best Sound in the most prestigious pan asian awards-Asian Academy Creative Awards 2022. Snakes SOS also became the Grand Winner in the Best Infotainment Programme in Asia in the same awards in 2023. Currently Darshan runs the Treehouse Studios, which is a leading Audio Post-Production Studio in the Gujarat region and has a team of 6 supremely talented Sound Designers and Mixing Engineers. Treehouse Studio has also ventured into Location Sound services like location mixers, engineers, equipment rentals and have been working on Feature Films, Documentaries and Ads.
