Higashi

Higashi is a producer and DJ, born in 2000 in Italy. Self-taught, he first approached music through DJing before fully dedicating himself to production, building his sound and studio from the ground up. Raised on hip hop and international influences, Higashi developed a musical language that moves across trap, reggaeton and urban sounds, blending influences from different cultures and scenes. In 2020, he collaborated with Baby Gang on the production of “Cella 2”, a track that brought him to the attention of the Italian scene and marked the beginning of a shared journey that continued with “Cella 3” and numerous other productions. In 2024, he joined the NPT label, further establishing his role as a producer while working on Baby Gang’s album “L’Angelo del Male”. His work has increasingly expanded into an international dimension, with collaborations including “Coltellino” by ElGrandeToto and “Rock” and “Portofino” by Lacrim. Today, Higashi is part of a new generation of Italian producers looking beyond the boundaries of the Italian scene. His goal is not to follow a single genre, but to transform different influences into a distinctive and recognizable sound.
