Biography & Metadata

Buffalo, New York–based DJ, producer, and musician Alex Bator, known professionally as Aye Bay, has quickly risen in the melodic dubstep scene with his emotive, high-energy productions and dynamic live performances. Since emerging in the early 2020s, he has released music on Circus Records, ARWV Records, Arctic Empire, and others, amassing over one million streams. His chart success includes a Top 50 spot on Beatport’s Dance/Pop Chart in 2024, plus #1 on Beatport’s Dance/Pop Releases and a Top 10 position on Beatport’s Overall Top 100 in August 2025. Aye Bay discovered his passion for music early, later developing a deep interest in electronic production. Inspired by ILLENIUM, Said the Sky, and Nurko, he began creating melodic, bass-driven tracks blending emotional songwriting with heavy drops. He has collaborated with artists including Gracie Van Brunt, Meggie York, Jazara, and OWTLET. His music has featured on Spotify’s “Bass Lounge” editorial playlist since 2024 and charted in multiple countries on Apple Music. Aye Bay’s live presence has grown rapidly, performing alongside Afinity, SadBois, NIKADEMIS, Nytrix, YOOKiE, and others. In July 2025, he made his Colorado debut, nearly selling out the venue, and will be performing as support for San Holo & What So Not in 2026. The University at Buffalo Law and Cosmic Academy graduate continues to cement his place as one of the most promising rising acts in the melodic bass and dubstep world.
