Lou Vicious

Fusing punk’s raw emotion with alt-rap swagger, Lou Vicious is a genre-breaking force of chaos, passion, and energy. Blending elements of pop, punk, hip-hop, and alt rock—his sound is shaped by the likes of Post Malone, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Black Sabbath, and Grinspoon, channeled through the wild heart of a rockstar. Since debuting in 2016, Lou has forged his own path from the postcodes of Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, becoming a self-made artist and cult favourite. Raised in an ever-changing environment, he absorbed culture and behaviour across cities, finding grounding in music. While he started out playing guitar, drums, and other instruments from a young age, it wasn’t until discovering artists like Earl Sweatshirt and Young Thug that hip-hop became part of his DNA. Expelled from the education system, Lou doubled down on his vision of becoming a rockstar—pulling inspiration from Lil Peep, Lil Uzi Vert and more to begin creating a sound that was bigger than himself. Known for explosive, sold-out live shows and regular support from Brisbane’s 4ZZZ Radio, Lou Vicious spent 2023 honing his craft and building a stronger foundation for his stake in Australia’s alt-rap and punk scenes. Now, with his new single “WITCH”, Lou returns to his gritty rock & punk roots—louder, darker, and more authentic than ever.
