Biography & Metadata

Ayda, at the age of 21, is already a remarkable personality. Since the age of five, she has been taking classical piano lessons and has already won several awards at piano competitions like “Jugend Musiziert” where she won the first prize in 2019. At the age of 16, Ayda participated in the MBC- aired TV Show “The Voice of Persia” where she reached the finals as a member of team Sogand. Following an invitation from the host, Sina Valiollah, she appeared on the Persian talk show “Chandshanbe ba Sina” in 2021. There she performed a self-composed song, played a Bach Prelude on the piano and eloquently conversed with the hosts. This appearance sparked international attention within the Persian community.   As a sign of solidarity to the "Women Life Freedom" protests in Iran in 2022, Ayda wrote a protest song called “Nemikham” based on the famous French song “Je veux” by Zaz. After the release of “Nemikham”, the song got viral and reached over 22 million plays on social media.   Following the invitation of the well-known guitarist Babak Amini and the Tirgan Festival in 2023, Ayda performed her self-written protest song “Nemikham” and her English song "Storm” at the “For Iran” event at the Scotia Bank Arena in Toronto, sharing the stage with Persian icons such as @Ebi , Faramarz Aslani , Shahin Najafi and many more. In September 2024, Ayda performed her music at the Zipper Hall in Los Angeles and in San Francisco, following an invitation from the Diaspora Arts Connection.
