Justin Spicer, also known as THWAGLORD, hails from Far Rockaway, Queens, NY. Despite a challenging upbringing high crime areas, his determination and work ethic led him from financial struggles to pursuing a thriving music career. Engaged in various aspects of music from a young age, including dancing and DJing, he gained attention on YouTube. At 16, THWAGLORD committed to music, seizing an opportunity to tour with the late Prodigy immediately after high school, fostering a valuable mentorship. This tour, along with continued guidance from Prodigy, exposed THWAGLORD to a vast network in the music community, allowing him to evolve as an artist. Inspired by the likes of Pharrell ,stack bundles ,Mobb Deep and other hip hop pioneers, he draws creative strength from his deep love for mid-‘90s hip hop and R&B. His current style seamlessly blends true hip hop with southern trap and bounce music, maintaining his NY roots in every track.
