Denzel Himself is an outer-London born rapper, record-producer and director redefining contemporary Hip-Hop through a collision of hardcore punk, RnB and jazz experimentation. His gothic, other-worldy take on Hip-Hop makes him more of an enigmatic frontman than an archetypal rapper. Described as “Dilla’s brain in Dali’s skull”, Denzel has forged an inimitable and distinct creative vision and sound. Entirely self-produced and self-directed, Denzel’s output is heavily transfixed by the synaesthesia he experiences, and an undiagnosed psychological disposition which both skews and intensifies the way he views life and art.
