Biography & Metadata

The Chilean rap group Centinela Spectro was formed in early 2000. Its first professional album was called Sin Cadenas, which is now known commercially as no más cadenas, the album received strong criticism for the high content of hate they had his compositions, for which I remain for a long time as a cult record to a few people linked to the musical genre of the group. After this album, the group makes impacto a la gran puta in 2005 and Bajo el humo de Santiago in 2010, the latter is one of the most popular so far. In the course of the recordings of their albums, the group composes different songs that still remain anonymous, as the band and the record labels that would publish the albums never reached an agreement in the distribution and commercialization of their music. For this reason, the band decided to release in 2016 a reissue of their album "no más cadenas" that contains the remastered tracks and extra content. The current state of the Chilean rap group is unknown, however, the efforts to publish the songs made live and all the extra content developed by Centinela Spectro are maintained, and the record label is expected to release a definitive collection edition, where absolutely all the material of the artist would be included.
