Biography & Metadata
Before the industry, before the career, before everything, there was a bedroom, a copy of FL Studio, and a need to make something peaceful. d.sh.wn is that need. Still alive. Still searching for the same thing it found ten years ago. The name comes from somewhere close. A part of a real name that only people who truly know the person behind the music ever use. This project was never meant for the world. It was meant for the moments between everything else. A way to step away from the noise of a professional life built around music, and remember why music existed in the first place. The sound of d.sh.wn is organic and pure. Synthesizers breathe alongside bass guitar, warm and low, grounding the weightless in something real. These are not electronic constructions. They are soundscapes, ambient drone compositions that feel like they grew rather than were made. Unhurried. Honest. Built entirely around one intention. To help you find peace. The Jupiter LP began as a revisit. Ten years after the very first ambient track was ever made, d.sh.wn returned to those original moons, europa, elara, metis, carpo, dia, and rebuilt them. Not to improve them, but to remember them. To honour the version of a person who made music simply because it felt good to do so. This is deep sleep music for tired souls. Lonely ambient soundscapes for the overstimulated. Ambient meditation for anyone who has spent too long being useful to the world and forgotten to rest inside themselves.
