Illatek is an award-winning London DJ & Producer pushing the UK sound all around the world. Heavily influenced by the UK Garage sound, and artists like Heartless Crew, Roll Deep, DJ Q, and Kano, his remix of Donae'o's The Party's Over Here even gained praise from the man himself. His style encompasses vocal, upbeat UK Garage with the odd exclusive RnB song too if he feels like it. His music has had support from the likes of SHOSH, Rude Kid and DJ Q on Kiss FM plus Jyoti on Rinse FM Freestyle, with further plays on FLEX FM 101.4 LONDON, Westside Radio, Pyro , The Panjabi Hit Squad and DJ EZ as well as garnering record label interest. He has been featured on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra & The BBC Asian Network and also BBC Introducing numerous times and even been chosen as “Track of the week”. He draws inspiration from the likes of Lost Girl, Rudimental, Drake, Preditah and Conducta as a wealth of rap artists. Illatek is now focusing on working with new artists and releasing a slew of bangers this year!
