STARLA

STARLA is the center of the universe for Stephanie Croff. It's her heart song. Her heart beat. Her hip-hop rhythm and groove. Her "Love notes to the world". Stephanie writes, sings, plays, records, and produces each song as if she's stepping through a portal into a whole other world - emerging back into "this reality" with a completed song as the only evidence of the immersive journey within. Ethereal vocals, layered guitars, beefy bass, gritty synths, mesmerizing pianos, rhythmic percussion, all pull together through STARLA's magnetic force to create genre-bending songs of love - of life - and of creative expression. Influenced by Enya, the Beastie Boys, grunge and classical, STARLA sounds like a dream come true, a romance by the sea, a cheeky schoolgirl crush, or a rough and fiery Declaration of Independence. Her most recent release "Fun Tonight" builds on the foundation of her debut as STARLA - a joyful expansion of playful energy, fun loving adventure, and deeply heartfelt longing. With a little bit of electric sex thrown in.
