Ollie Wride

Ollie Wride is an English singer / songwriter fusing innovative modern alternative pop with the nostalgic hallmarks of stadium influences. He found a platform to hone his unique blend of songwriting and showmanship as part of San Francisco–based synth-pop purveyors FM-84, penning some of synthwave’s most popular tracks including Running In The Night and Never Stop, leading to two North American sold-out tours. The popularity of this collaboration provided opportunity for Wride to explore a more personal approach, utilising his melodic sensibilities and character-driven lyrics, attracting a new audience with his debut solo album Thanks In Advance. Widely praised by fans, the album charted on Billboard’s Top 10 Electronic and iTunes Electronic charts. Wride’s catalogue has featured in major placements including Netflix and HBO. Recently, Wride released his hotly anticipated sophomore record The Pressure Point on M3 Recordings, achieving the top spot across all genres on Bandcamp and entering the Billboard Top 40; with the single Wish You Well featuring in Spotify’s New Music Friday and John Mayer's SiriusXM Fresh Finds. In support of the album, Wride embarked on his biggest tour to date performing 23 shows across the UK and North America, selling out multiple venues including his third sold-out show at the legendary Troubadour. Crowned Boisdale’s / Xercoff’s Male Artist of the Year by Jools Holland, Wride’s momentum continues to build as he now works on his third studio album.
