My name is Daouda Denon, known artistically as David 6D, a Malian singer and storyteller. I have just released my first EP , a deeply personal project that represents my soul, my journey, and my identity as an artist. With this body of work, I want to show my fans and the world who I truly am — what I have been through, what I stand for, and demonstrate that I am a versatile artist, able to express a wide range of emotions and musical styles. Music is my voice and my legacy. Through it, I share my vision of the world and my way of thinking, because I dream big. I lost my father at a very young age, a moment that changed my life forever. My mother fought with strength and courage to raise us, and today I honor her, as well as my brothers and sisters who believed in me when everything seemed uncertain. This EP also reflects my joy for life, my faith in my own talent, and the hope that has always guided me despite the struggles. My purpose is to build a bridge between traditional Malian music and modern sounds, blending them into a unique style that represents both my roots and my future. But this project also speaks to my personal wounds — heartbreak, loss, and the challenges that shaped me into who I am today. Every emotion, every victory and every scar lives in these songs. Ultimately, this EP is a reflection of my triumphs and my trials, my long-term vision, and my unbreakable determination. Like the owl, I see far, I aim high. I am David 6D — a legend in the making.
