LAFAYETTE

Formed in Lyon in early 2024, LAFAYETTE has established itself in just under three years as a powerful force on the modern metal scene. From their very first single, A Soul With A Gun, the tone was set: intense, visceral music driven by razor-sharp execution and raw energy. 2024 saw the release of five music videos, leading up to their debut self-produced album, DELIVER US, in March 2025, followed by the self-produced EP F*CKED-UP SONGS in July 2025. 2026 marks another major milestone for the band with the release of their second self-produced EP, THIS PRISON IN ME. This new release reveals an increasingly introspective, intense, and cathartic sonic universe. Drawing from metalcore, screamo, nu-metal, and other post-90s heavy music influences, LAFAYETTE creates a brutal yet emotionally charged blend. Inspired by bands such as COUNTERPARTS, ARCHITECTS, and NORMA JEAN, the quartet has forged a fiercely individual and uncompromising identity. Their sound is unique, both abrasive and melancholic, underpinned by an uncompromising level of technical precision. Balancing intensity with emotional honesty, LAFAYETTE embodies a modern scene that is constantly evolving, free-spirited, and unconstrained by boundaries.
