President Todi

President Todi is a South African-born DJ, creative director, and cultural architect — best known as the founder of The House of Blackness, a multidisciplinary platform dedicated to music, visual storytelling, underground culture, and African creative expression. DJing since 2007, President Todi built his foundation within the township and underground house music movement of Soweto, holding a residency at Club KiloWatt before evolving into an internationally rooted selector and performer now based in Ireland. His sound blends Deep House, Soulful House, Afro Deep, and Tribal House into emotionally charged musical journeys centered around rhythm, spirituality, connection, and liberation through dance. Beyond the decks, President Todi is building ecosystems that empower artists and communities through platforms such as Deep In The Sound, immersive live experiences, DJ culture initiatives, streaming platforms, creative media, and curated music discovery spaces under The House of Blackness umbrella. Recognised for his signature performance energy and “The Presidential Elbow,” his sets are designed to feel cinematic, spiritual, and deeply human — merging African identity with global underground house music culture.
