Earthquake Lights

Alt Rock band Earthquake Lights seeks to create something timeless, informed by the great songs of the 20th century American songbook. Yet the primary sound is decidedly contemporary, featuring striking, deeply emotional songwriting reminiscent of rock greats like Radiohead, Pink Floyd and Steely Dan. Dense string orchestration and atmospheric, spacious production is a feature of the bands music. The sound of strings recorded at Abbey Rd studios lends an extremely lush quality to the bands brand of cinematic art-rock. The band has released three full length albums, featured 2x GRAMMY winner Nicole Zuraitis as well as songstress Lindsey Lomis, and have themselves been featured on a Vulfpeck record. Their third album “Signs of Life” charted in the top 30 on the Apple Music charts, breaking the record they’d previously set with the titular single from their previous album “Desert Bloom,” which hit the top 40.  They plan to release their upcoming fourth full length album at the start of 2027.
