Biography & Metadata
Yellowtael is the recording alias of Ken Tewell, a Seattle-based producer creating tracks inspired by dance & indie electronic music intertwined with emotive, nostalgic sounds. Ken has enjoyed the opportunity to perform at festivals (including Insomniac's Escape: Halloween) and in supporting slots for his favorite inspirations including Jai Wolf, San Holo, Seven Lions, and demotapes. In 2025, he released an official remix for pop artist Lauv's multi-platinum hit "I Like Me Better." In 2026, he released an official remix for "Spiritual" by electronic duo Phantoms. For Ken, writing and performing music is the purest form of personal, creative, and emotional expression.
