Biography & Metadata

Undeniably one of the most talented individuals to ply their trade in the drum and bass scene across the past decade, Chris Garvey's fresh musical journey with his solo project as Circadian has seen the producer and DJ showcase his sonic versatility, ingenuity and prowess like never before. Although this new alias only launched in 2023, Circadian has already released some of the most notable rave anthems of the few years, consistently been supported by titans of the scene, and has even soundtracked some of the planet's most popular video games in Fortnite and Rocket League. Born in London, UK, Garvey began DJing at the age of 16, quickly gained a passion for drum & bass music before starting to produce his own tracks. After eventually teaming up with Nick White to form The Prototypes in 2010, the duo became synonymous with writing stadium-shattering anthems such as "Pale Blue Dot," "Electric," "Kill The Silence," and “Reason feat Lowes”, enjoying great success in the scene. Now fully immersed in his new Circadian project, Garvey says the alias represents "The Ying Yang of Rave Culture". With collaborations with Sota, Friction, Mozey, Koven & Dirtyphonics, remixes for the legendary Basement Jaxx and Camo & Krooked, and releases on UKF, Armada, Monstercat, Elevate, and Sleepless all under the belt, the seismic nature of the project pays testament to Garvey's versatility as a producer and his ability to write D&B weapons that resonate with the scene's current sound.
