Spectra Sonics

Masaya Ikeda, known as DJ Masaya, is the Japanese artist behind the project Spectra Sonics, one of the most respected names in the global psytrance scene today. The project began around 2010 when he joined Grasshopper Records. His sound is described as "full-on" psychedelic, characterized by solid basslines and intense melodies. Spectra Sonics has released acclaimed albums such as "Sentimental" (2015), "Revival" (2017), and the recent "Sonic Adventures" on Shamanic Tales Records, Astrix's imprint. Not surprisingly, he is a constant presence at major international festivals such as Boom Festival and Ozora Festival.
