Caitlin Mar

Caitlin Mar crafts thoughtful, emotionally resonant indie pop rooted in sharp lyricism and soft-focus nostalgia. Originally from New York and now based in Nashville, she blends folk storytelling with atmospheric production to explore the in-between moments—quiet revelations, slow-burning heartbreaks, the ache of growing up and growing apart. Her debut album Harbor, arriving September 2025, is a co-produced collaboration with Gusti Escalante that unfolds like a well-kept journal: vulnerable, poetic, and full of small truths. Anchored by lines like “I’m holding my beer like a cold cross / like I need some spiritual defense” (from her lead single “Be Cool”), Caitlin’s writing captures the nuance of adult coming-of-age with a steady hand and an open heart. For fans of Esther Rose, early Rilo Kiley, and Aimee Mann.
