Biography & Metadata

Justin Michael Bisnauth AKA “Jbiz” is a Christian hip hop artist based out of the metro Atlanta area. Born in Hamilton, Canada, Jbiz grew up with a musical flair in a Christian Pentecostal family. When Jbiz was 11, he and his family left Canada and moved to the US. While he had an Christian upbringing, around high school, Jbiz began stepping outside of what he knew was right. He never stopped believing in God and knowing he needed Him, but he still went on to make a series of destructive decisions that took a toll on his relationships and well-being, and landed him in jail on several occasions. When Jbiz hit his breaking point after struggling for several years to live for God and for the world, he realized he needed to do things God’s way. Jbiz handed his destructive habits to God on more than one occasion, but once he committed to living for God, he watched God begin the process of restoration on him. Jbiz is now married, serving in the church, and using His gifts in the way God intended. In addition to his own music, he is now leading a ministry God put in his heart called Creatives 4 Christ. He created this ministry space as a way for young adults to express their creative abilities - from rap to dance and spoken word to singing, as well as giving Christian entrepreneurs a platform to sell their merchandise. Justin’s heart is to give them the space to use their talents for God rather than for the world; he knows that if the church doesn’t welcome them, the world will.
