Delinquent

Born from the heart of the UK garage and bassline movement, Delinquent delivered one of the scene's defining crossover anthems with My Destiny. Combining Delinquent’s pioneering, bass-heavy production with KCAT’s distinctive and soulful vocals, the track became a UK Top 20 hit in 2008 and a defining anthem of British club culture. As key contributors to the evolution of Bassline and UK Garage, both artists have continued to influence the scene through acclaimed collaborations, solo releases and groundbreaking productions. More than two decades on, My Destiny remains a cult classic and, following its global viral resurgence in 2026, it’s been introduced a new generation to a record that helped shape the sound of UK dance music.
