Mellos Brothers

Mellos Brothers is a Colombian DJ and producer duo formed by twin brothers Juan Pablo and Daniel Ortegón, born on 27th May 1989 in Girardot, Colombia. They specialise in electronic music genres such as Deep House, House, Minimal House, and Tech House. Their journey began in 2014 with their first event in their hometown, leading to the creation of Mellos Brothers as a musical project. In collaboration with Baum Club, they launched the Pool Series events (2016–2019), featuring both national and international artists. They have performed at top venues in Bogotá, including Armando Records, Baum, Octava, and Radio Berlin, and have extended their reach to cities like Medellín, Cali, Cartagena, and Pasto. Their sets have also been featured on international platforms such as Downtown Tulum Radio, Radio Show Spain and Dubai, and Adidas Original CMX. Mellos Brothers have shared the stage with renowned artists like Dennis Cruz, Cuartero, Stefano Noferini, Joris Voorn, Paco Osuna, and Elena Pavla. They’ve played at festivals such as Elrow Bogotá, La Playita Music Festival, and Manta Space in Ecuador. Since 2020, they've released music on labels such as Deep Tech Records, Tip Tap Records, and Clover Records. Currently, they are working on new EPs in collaboration with both Colombian and international artists, continuing to share their sound across Latin America, including Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, and Ecuador.
