From the heart of Sacramento, Yayvo has always been driven by an unshakable passion for music. Growing up in an environment filled with both artistic inspiration and real world challenges, he never imagined he would one day carve out a name for himself in the industry. Battling through financial and social hardships, Yayvo’s journey has been one of resilience, ambition, and raw talent. Yayvo co-founded a small music group, Young Loyal Fellaz, alongside a close friend. Together, they experimented with different sounds, refining their craft. However, as Yayvo’s artistic vision evolved, he realized his need to branch out as a solo artist under a new name YUNG KING in order to explore his own unique style. Determined to build his name, Yayvo recorded and released five genre-blending tracks, incorporating elements of hip-hop and R&B. Selling these demos across California, he began gaining statewide recognition. His music had already made waves in his high school, turning him into a local sensation and fueling his desire to push even further. Recognizing the need for creative independence, Yayvo took matters into his own hands building a home studio where he could write, produce, and refine his sound without limitations. This period of self-reliance allowed him to fully develop his artistry, creating music that resonated deeply with his growing fanbase. Single "Tsunami" charted number 17 on iTunes Charts.
