PlayaPhonk

PlayaPhonk, also known as Tobias Aaen Sørensen, embarked on his musical journey in 2015 at the tender age of 9. His creative exploration led him to stumble upon the Phonk genre via YouTube in 2017. By 2019, PlayaPhonk commenced his foray into crafting his own Phonk music, employing the software known as FL Studio. In November 2020, one of his compositions, "Phonky Town," caught the attention of a TikTok user and gained substantial popularity. PlayaPhonk made his entire musical repertoire available across multiple streaming platforms, resulting in a meteoric rise in his audience reach. In 2021, PlayaPhonk signed a contract with Arista New York, a subsidiary of Sony, and released a series of tracks that further solidified his artistic prowess. In June 2023, PlayaPhonk decided to reclaim his independence, charting a new path for his musical career. His cumulative streams on Spotify neared the remarkable milestone of 400 million Spotify Streams, as of June 2023.
