Sean Mac

Independent artist Sean Mac is carving out a fresh lane in today’s music scene, combining raw emotional honesty with genre-blending production. Originally from Malverne, NY and now based in San Diego, the 28-year-old has been steadily gaining recognition for his distinct blend of melodic rap, trap rhythms, and indie rock influences. Since launching his career in 2020, Sean Mac music has evolved into a powerful vehicle for storytelling, self-reflection, and connection. What sets Sean apart is his all-in approach to the creative process. He writes, produces, and engineers all of his own records—skills he honed with the help of mentors like his longtime friend Stepo and frequent collaborator Manic One. “Music started as a way for me to cope with my depression,” Sean explains. “I wanted to create something that helped others feel less alone.” That emotional drive is still present in his sound today, now layered with refined production techniques and influences from artists like Mac Miller, Lil Peep, 347aidan, and Verzache.
