Biography & Metadata
Catch is a Lewisham-bred rapper whose music turns lived experience into piercing, emotionally charged storytelling. Blending raw realism with a rolodex of dynamic instrumentation and sharp-edged “reality raps,” her music captures the pressures and emotional bruises that typify contemporary London life. From freestyles that went viral online to co-signs from some of UK rap’s most respected names, Catch has quickly emerged as one of the capital’s most compelling new voices – stampeding through the scene with The Elephant in the Room. Her debut single, “Baby Away”, dropped in April of 2024. The track boasts a symphonic, piano-backed drill beat courtesy of Jax and EDS: offering listeners fragments of Catch’s contentious life stories through a stream of consciousness-style bars, married to reverberating 808 drums. It was our first introduction to Catch’s glacial style, and a handful of well-received singles followed in “Crickets” and “July/August” – further cementing her prolific output. Released in January 2025, Catch’s first body of work, Young Trapper’s Dream, was a 17-minute entrée of what Catch’s artistry is all about – boasting trap-injected bangers like “YTD” and the pensive “Bolognese”. After Young Trapper’s Dream, Catch got into the collaborative spirit, sharing the mic with the likes of fellow rappers SL and Giggs on the former’s track “Block Tales” in autumn 2025, marking the rising spitter as the standout performer on the trap-laced bange
