Biography & Metadata

Italian artist Davide Dalmonte, born in 2005, discovered music during quarantine with no prior training, turning raw emotion into a self-taught creative practice that became his calling. Blending pop, soul, and funk with a wide vocal range, catchy basslines, and intimate storytelling, he makes music you can dance and cry to at the same time. His breakthrough came as one of the lead singers on "Hoist The Colors" (2022), surpassing 100 million streams and billions of social media views, while his personal following grew to 5.8 million and earned recognition from Katy Perry, OneRepublic, and Celine Dion. Since launching his original project in 2023, he has released the ballad "Virus," his debut EP "Dying To Live," and the international feature "JWYA" with Turkish artist Rana Turkyilmaz. 2026 has proven to be a turning point. "Tug of War," released in March, became his first song to earn recognition on Sirius XM, marking his first foothold in American radio. Shortly after, he won an open verse challenge launched by John Michael Howell, landing him a feature on the remix of "Missing Piece." Davide writes about what most people think but rarely speak: the unresolved, the uncomfortable, the quietly overwhelming. For him, creating is not ambition. It is a necessity dressed up as art.
