Biography & Metadata

I’m Biesmans, Belgian-born, Berlin-based. I make “Heart Groove”: house music that’s supposed to do three things: make you move, make you feel something, and connect you with the people around you. The sound? Warm grooves, analog synths, melodies you’ll remember on the way home. Nothing overly complicated. Just music that works on a dance floor — the kind that needs a few hours to really take you somewhere. I’ve played some incredible club spaces: Panoramabar, Fabric, Fuse, Dedge. Festival stages: Tomorrowland, Pukkelpop, EXIT, Fusion. And plenty more rooms in between My music’s been released on Running Back, Turbo Recordings, Correspondant, and my own label MUEM Records. Made an album called Trains, Planes and Automobiles, and put together the Watergate 28 compilation with people like Mathew Jonson, Zombies in Miami, Kasper Bjørke, and Shubostar. I’m passionate about synths — spend way too much time in the studio messing with machines and posting (POVs) about it. That’s how the music gets made: trial, error, and finding sounds that hit right. Currently working on a new album for 2026. Same mission as always: create moments on dance floors where people lose themselves, feel good, and remember why they love this music in the first place. That’s it. Physical, emotional, social. Everything else is noise.
