Andrea Vettoretti

Andrea Vettoretti is an Italian composer and guitarist whose music blends classical tradition, minimalism and contemporary soundscapes. His guitar becomes a narrative voice, creating immersive worlds where listening and emotion are central. After graduating with top marks from the conservatory, he continued his studies at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, earning the Diplômes d’Exécution and Concertiste. Winner of thirteen international competitions, he has performed in prestigious venues including Queen Elizabeth Hall (London), Salle Cortot (Paris), Teatro La Fenice (Venice) touring extensively across Europe, the Americas and Australia. He has released eleven albums worldwide, developing a distinctive artistic path through concept projects such as Rain, Wonderland, Quantum One and Nocturnal Stars. His work often explores the relationship between nature, science and music: Quantum One, created in collaboration with astrophysicist integrates cosmic sounds, while Nocturnal Stars offers a more intimate and minimalist evolution of this universe. His upcoming project, The Breath of Water is dedicated to water as a living being and universal language, built from sounds collected in water sites around the world. For this work, he was appointed Ambassador of the Global Network of Water Museums (UNESCO).
