AKKI

You rarely forget a DJ set by AKKI. Rooted in Brooklyn’s underground scene, the Australian Indian DJ and Producer, raised between Australia and Singapore, electrifies dance floors with a high energy blend of raw percussive, globally influenced tribal house music against a tech house backdrop, layered with her own soulful vocals. Her recent "give me what i want" has already garnered support from major artists such as Anna Lunoe. Her music is built to hit hard while telling relatable stories, from weekend euphoria to Monday reality, as heard in her track “head is at the rave.” Over the past year, AKKI has released music and remixes on Almost Like We Met, Club Sweat, and W+O Street Tracks, opened for Disco Dom (Dombresky) at Knockdown Center, shared lineups with artists like John Summit, Green Velvet, and LP Giobbi, played festivals including Elements and Mysteryland, and been featured in outlets such as DJ Mag and Magnetic Magazine, all while championing women and underrepresented voices in dance music.
