Biography & Metadata

Moa Carlebecker is a Swedish artist, songwriter and vocal producer who at an early age began writing her own music and created a career under the name Cazzi Opeia, inspired by the constellation and asterism Cassiopeia. Cazzi Opeia made her breakthrough in 2022 when she competed in Melodifestivalen with her infectious hit, "I Can't Get Enough." The song quickly became a fan favorite, captivating audiences with its irresistible blend of electro-pop and catchy hooks. The track quickly climbed the charts, earning Platinum certification and becoming a radio hit. Cazzi Opeia has also become a top international songwriter, especially within K-pop. Her exceptional work has resulted in smash hits with a number of K-Pop superstars like BTS, TWICE, TXT, NCT 127, NCT Dream, Enhypen, Red Velvet and ITZY a.o. Within the span of a single year, Cazzi Opeia pulled off a historic triple win: co-writing Loreen’s “Tattoo,” which triumphed in both Melodifestivalen and the Eurovision Song Contest while also claiming victory in the American Song Contest with AleXa’s “Wonderland.” In 2024 Cazzi Opeia made a comeback in Melodifestivalen with the catchy pop tune “Give My Heart A Break”, finishing 4th in the Final. Between 2022 and 2025, Cazzi Opeia has competed in Melodifestivalen, either as a songwriter and/or artist, with five entries, all of which reached the Final. Cazzi Opeia was awarded STIM's Platinum Guitar in 2023 for her exceptional songwriting successes.
