Nic Hanson

Nic Hanson is pure energy. An American singer, producer, rapper and multi-instrumentalist from Philadelphia, he is particularly known for his unique vocal production and chameleonic pop sensibility. Currently based in Paris, his eclectic collaborations span an endless range of genres, languages and countries, while his fluid, genreless solo work seamlessly blends soul, dance, funk, rock, salsa and hip-hop. He speaks a lot of languages badly. His ability to create chemistry with an infinite number of artists and crowds has taken him to tours and festivals across North America, Europe and Asia, as well as collaborations with the likes of Moon Boots, Riva Starr, Jafunk and Ric Wilson, among many others. He is also currently touring in France as the singer of Synapson. Now, Nic is entering a new chapter with Human Intelligence, a live project built around spontaneous collaborations with local musicians, celebrating human connection, creativity and the unique energy of each place.
