Bill Mandara

Though Bill has a successful full time career as an Architect in NYC, he has been making music his entire life While most of it as a drummer playing in a variety of bands and project since middle school, on his 40th birthday Bill decided to learn additional instruments, the guitar bass and keys in order to start to translate his own vision for rock music into reality. 5 years later Bill also immersed himself in recording software and recording methods. During Covid, Bill built his own recording studio in his home (that also serves as a home office). Through many experiments in 2021 Bill was able to put together the songs that he was working on into his first album,, Cloudy Days. With his son Joey taking lead vocal duty Cloudy Days was recorded and released independently in 2021 taking In 2022 Bill followed up Cloudy days with his second full length album, What the hell is wrong with you??? A natural progression from the first album this recording features 12 more concise songs than it’s predecessor and Bill taking on lead vocals for half of the songs with his son on the rest. 2023 saw the release of Middle Aged Angst consisting of songs documenting a challenging year, while Musings of a Dinosaur was released in 2024 A year and a half of writing and recording songs, redoing rewriting the same songs and continuous refinement culminated in the newest release, I'ts always something.
