What Happened to Peter is one of the most exciting emerging teen bands in Los Angeles. Their style is truly genre bending can best be described as a blend of punk, pop punk, and rock. Drawing from influences such as Green Day, The Clash, Ramones, Volbeat, and Black Sabbath as well as melodic, shredding guitar solos heavily influenced by the stylings of Eddie Van Halen, David Gilmour, and Kirk Hammett, the sonic path they are forging is uniquely their own. Comprised of Ethan Hirsch (16, lead vocals, guitar), Emily Hirsch (14, background vocals, keyboard), and Harry Sweeney (15, bass), What Happened to Peter delivers gritty, youthful energy with a maturity far beyond their years. They released their first single “Lifelong friend” on 4/24/26 which is a raw, 90s-influenced Ramones style anthem.
