Karwan Marouf is an Austrian composer and producer of Kurdish descent, blending cinematic soundscapes with electronic and acoustic elements. With over two decades of experience, his musical journey began in rock and indie bands before evolving into a passion for electronic music and film scoring. Marouf's work ranges from deeply atmospheric scores for award-winning films like Fuchs im Bau to experimental, genre-blurring productions. Known for his emotive compositions and unique fusion of styles, Marouf continues to push the boundaries of sound in both the film and music industries. For over 20 years, Marouf has been composing for various film projects and, in 2022, received the Austrian Film Award for Fuchs im Bau.
