Mac Lloyd

Mac Lloyd has honed his sound as a truly unique songwriter and producer throughout the last couple of years, leading the way in Melancholic Soul. Having collaborated with the likes of Jman (Babylon Dead, Kaotik Kartel), Res One (Split Prophets, Dutch Mob), Lazy Eyes (Pupils Of The Clock) and many more. Setting the bar high with his debut release “TRAPPED” in February 2018, Mac fused the elements that would dedicate themselves to his signature sound, collaborating with This and That media to create a stunning visual representation of a laid back yet experimental jazz number. He shortly followed suit with his self released debut EP “IT’S NOT ALL BAD, I PROMISE” which featured collaborations from Cassie Madly & Jman. Mac was then signed to Bristol’s Green Brick Records and since has released a number of soul and jazz infused releases including his “TIRED EYES” EP, “I GUESS” W/ George B, and much anticipated collab EP with Green Brick Records own Res One, entitled “HINDSIGHT HOTEL”. The Four Track EP received high praise in the UK and Europe and was also featured in The Wire magazine. In March 2021 Mac released the aptly titled “MELANCHOLIC SOUL CLUB” EP via Green Brick Records. With two well received singles “TO THE BRIM” & “IF I COULD” the EP also received praise from the likes of Chuck D + DJ Shorty (AndYouDontStop radio), BBC Introducing, Wordplay Magazine amongst others!
