Southside Vic

Hailing from the deeply southern melting pot of Arlington, Texas. Southside Vic’s antenna for all things soulful molded his style, giving it brevity, heart, and intensity. Within an overcrowding rap game, Southside Vic's unique approach in writing and performance has islanded him from comparison. While his songwriting is heavily influenced by the swing of blues and the dynamic storytelling of folk, his skill in performance has been honed by a background in battle rap, acting, and comedy. In the midst of penning lyrics that illuminate the human condition he delivers performances that project it. Whether he’s unlocking new pockets over trap beats or effortlessly gliding on top of Neo soul instrumentals, one thing remains true. A story is being told.
